Along with my brother, we have been searching the internet for anyone sharing our name, since 1999.
This actually followed a conversation where we agreed, we had a somewhat unusual surname. But of course, at that time, people were not aware of using the World Wide Webb. I searched using Copernic (previous to Google) e-mail addresses with the name attached and low and behold I received back from many Justers around the world.
Even if they didn’t have the name they either knew of “Justers” or perhaps had previously possessed the name. I had many stories ranging from fake names that were picked up on because they were determined to hide their real name from the Natzis, because of their Jewish faith. To a Spanish Cardinal that had a secret affair with a below-stairs girl. Several families derived from a certain town in Rumania. Where the most popular family name was ” Juster”.
